It was more around the lines of fire in nature, you know? After a forest fire, everything's black and ashes... then new stuff grows very well from the nutrients.

Fire is sometime seen as a cleansing element, both literally and figuratively.

This is more metaphorical than literal. I’ve been sitting here for a good five minutes now, and can’t really find the words to explain what was going through my head while I shot this though.

I’ve planned this idea for months, but never got around to do it until today.

No touch up or color manipulation. Just the photograph and the watermarks.
