CATEGORIES:

Traditional Art: You may only submit artwork using traditional media such as pencils, pens, watercolors, markers, copic markers, airbrush, spray paint, etc. It is NOT considered traditional if you draw lineart by hand and color digitally!

Digital Art: You may only submit artwork using digital media such as Photoshop, Adobe Flash, Open Canvas, Oekaki, Illustrator, MS Paint, etc. It IS considered digital if you draw lineart by hand and color digitally!

Craft: You may only submit photos of what YOU have created or crafted or sculptures of your perspectives on love. For example, you can take pictures of clay models, plushies, dolls or such you have created that fits in with the theme.
This section will be closed if there is not enough entries! Minimum requirement overall: 25 entries.


Contest ends June 30, 2008. Changed due to popular opinion.




RULES:
NO hentai, ecchi, sexually explicit, macabre or horror*. (girl-girl, boy-boy entries ARE allowed)
Must use ORIGINAL characters. No fan art!*
Must involve the theme love in your submission.
NO literary works--this means no poems or word entries.
You cannot use an old illustration and submit it.
You cannot use your entry to enter into two different contests.
Entries that are very sexually suggestive will be rejected. [ /edit February 9th ]

RESTRICTIONS, ETC:
Limit one submission per category per deviant.
Effortless submissions will not be accepted (ex. dirty traditional sketches, rushed submission done in fifteen minutes)
Traditional submissions may not be done on lined notebook paper.

You may use some degree of blood in your illustration or craft--but let's keep it minimal for the young viewers here, mkay? <3~
You may use your original characters. You may also use characters of another deviant's--but let's get permission first k? <3
Make sure you are allowed to receive actual mail for the prizes ^{(if you cannot receive mail or wish to gift this to someone, you MAY choose someone else to receive the prizes!)}




Judges have NOT been selected! You may sign up to become a judge a two weeks prior to the end of the contest (therefore, you may start applying June 16th)

HOW 2 B JUDGE?:
READ ABOVE. Judge applications sent before June 16th will be REJECTED
Must NOT participate in the contest
Send a note labeled "Contest Judge"
Explain in the note why you should be a judge for this contest
Applications that do not follow the rules will be ignored.

Only FIVE judges will be accepted. (This may increased at any time) There will be a total of seven judges--myself, a friend, and five applicants.
To make up for losses, RPG Beta Testers will have dibs on judge spots--the catch is, the HAS to be sent in June 16th, 2008!
